Plagiarism Screening Policy
This journal is committed to maintaining academic integrity and the quality of scientific publications. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo plagiarism screening before entering the review process.
Screening Process
All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin, iThenticate, or similar tools to identify potential text similarities.
Similarity Threshold
The acceptable similarity index is a maximum of 20% overall.
Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be further evaluated by the editor to determine whether the similarity constitutes plagiarism or acceptable overlap (e.g., citations or common methodology).
Types of Plagiarism Not Allowed
The journal does not tolerate:
- Direct plagiarism (copy-paste without citation)
- Partial plagiarism
- Self-plagiarism without proper referencing
- Paraphrasing without proper attribution
Actions for Violations
- Manuscripts with high levels of plagiarism will be rejected immediately
- Authors may be asked to revise manuscripts if the similarity is within tolerance but requires citation improvement
- If plagiarism is detected after publication, the article may be retracted in accordance with COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines
Author Responsibilities
Authors are responsible for ensuring that:
- The submitted manuscript is original
- All sources are properly cited
- No copyright violations occur
