Publication Ethics
Arete Litera: Multidisciplinary Journal of Research ( AMJR ) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. This statement is based on the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability in scholarly publishing, and follows best practices as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Duties of Authors
Authors are required to:

- Properly cite and acknowledge all sources and contributions.
- Ensure that all listed authors have made significant contributions to the research.

2. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:
- Making publication decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit, originality, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
- Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential review process.
- Avoiding conflicts of interest in handling submissions.
- Maintaining the integrity of the academic record.
- Taking appropriate action in cases of ethical misconduct.
3. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are expected to:
- Provide objective, constructive, and timely evaluations.
- Maintain confidentiality of the manuscripts under review.
- Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
- Notify editors of any potential ethical issues, including plagiarism or duplication.
- Avoid reviewing manuscripts where conflicts of interest exist.
4. Ethical Oversight
The journal ensures that:
- Research involving human participants or sensitive data complies with ethical standards and applicable regulations.
- Authors provide ethical clearance where required.

5. Plagiarism Policy
